I am sorry about your loss. Death is always difficult to deal with, no matter the circumstances. Even though I did not know Raymond, I try my best to encourage the bereaved with a comforting thought from God's word the bible.
Notice these encouraging words from the bible book of Psalm 37:11. It reads, "But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." This is a promise to those asleep in death to live again and forever in a new world to come. This is a sure hope that we can all have confidence in.
