We learned of the passing of Ant Dorothy thru Mark her godson on Sunday 8-21-16.
We which we have known of her passing so we could of attended her services, your Ant Pat and Uncle Paul"s children all are upset that the Thornton Family's situation was in such disrepair,and we are sending are deepest sympathy.

I am sorry about your loss. Death is always difficult to deal with, no matter the circumstances. Even though I did not know Dorothy, I try my best to encourage the bereaved with a comforting thought from God's word the bible.
Notice these encouraging words from the bible book of Mark 5:41,42. It reads in part, "Then, taking the hand of the child, he said to her...when translated..."Little girl, I say to you, get up!” And immediately the girl rose and began walking. (She was 12 years old.) And at once they were beside themselves with great ecstasy." There are nine recorded resurrections in the bible which gives us confidence of God's ability and desire to bring the dead back to life. This is a sure future hope that we can all have confidence in.
