William J. McLaughlin, III “Billy”

Age 53 of Sheraden, passed away April 15, 2023 after a brief illness. Billy was born in 1969 to Rita and William J McLaughlin Jr. He was raised by his mother in the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh and graduated from Seton LaSalle High School. His mother's second marriage to Leo Doyle granted him a step-father who remained a strong presence in his life throughout adulthood. Billy married Jennifer (Gilman) McLaughlin in 2003.

Although the couple had no children, they were proud cat parents. He was a devoted husband who spent his time taking care of a slightly disorganized wife and their perpetually fur covered house.  Weekends were often spent exploring different areas of the city with Jennifer or making routine errands with her a little more interesting. With an easy-going nature and witty quips, Billy was always able to make people smile. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

William is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jennifer; father, William McLaughlin Jr.; step-father, Leo Doyle; step-siblings Robert (Carrie), Elizabeth, Sharon, Jennifer; aunt and God-Mother, JoAnne McLaughlin. William was predeceased by his mother, Rita.

 Family and friends are welcomed on WEDNESDAY, April 19th from 3-6 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc. 2944 Chartiers Ave, Sheraden where a service will be held at 6 PM.
