Age 73, on Monday, August 4, 2014 of Robinson Twp., formerly of Florida, Sheraden and Elliott. Beloved husband of Nancy (Leiner) Harkins; father of Bill (Angela) Harkins, Tamara (Brian) Waggoner and Todd (Joy) Harkins; 6 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; brother of Edward (Jean) Harkins. Friends received Wednesday 6-8 p.m and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at WM. F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Mass in Holy Innocents Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Bill was Past Commander of American Legion Post 496 and an active member and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Innocents Church. He was a retired employee of UPS, retiring as a Manager after over 30 year’s service. He was also an active tailgater at Pittsburgh Steeler games since his retirement from UPS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Innocents Church.
