Robert Lawrence Vogelsberger

It is with sad hearts the we announce the death of our father who passed away on Thursday August 26, 2021 surrounded by his children and grandchildren.   He was native of  Pittsburgh Pa.  He work for most of his life with the Pittsburgh Press/Post Gazette until his retirement in 2001.  He was a avid sportsman with a love for hunting and fishing.  He is the son of the late Antoinette and Alfred Vogelsberger.  Beloved husband of the late Sandra (Zollars) Vogelsberger; loving father of Mark Vogelsberger, Renee Nutting, LeeAnn, Michael, Eric and the late Lynn Vogelsberger. Grandfather of Nicholas (Laura) Nutting, Cody (Brooke) Nutting, Evan, Nathan, Ethan and Aiden Vogelsberger.  Brother of late Jack (Freda) Vogelsberger and Nancy (Ed) Hall. Great grandfather of Riley, Ezekiel, and Caden Nutting.

A memorial gathering will be on WEDNESDAY from 4 - 7 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc. 2944 Chartiers Ave, Sheraden. Bob was a veteran of the US Army and will be buried in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
