Age 81, of Sheraden, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Beloved husband of Laraine (Kramer) Fox; loving father of  Donna Van Tassell (Scott) and the late Richard “Ricky” Fox; grandfather of Nikki and Jenna Van Tassell; He is also survived by his special “adopted” daughters, Kati Ault and Shelly “Aushie” Espy. Richard served in the Navy for 8 years and worked for the railroad for 45 years starting with the Pennsylvania Railroad and retiring from Conrail.  Although he was devoted to his work as a conductor on the railroad he would tell everyone his favorite job was being a grandfather to Nikki and Jenna.  Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 27th  from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m.  Burial with military honors will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
