Mary Ann Sabram
Age 92, of Sheraden, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. Mary Ann was the beloved wife of William Sabram; loving mother of Stephen R. Sabram, Mary Ann (Grant) Gilliland, Bill C. (Ted Smiley) Sabram, and Joan M. (Paul) Ejzak; cherished sister of Annette Wallace and the late Thomasine Miller, Charles Brown, and Ruth Dolan. She was also a proud grandmother of Rebekka, Adyne, Emma Sabram, Jack, Kate, Scout Marie Gilliland, Paul, and Charlie Ejzak. Mary was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Mary Grace (Haselsteiner) Brown.
Born and raised in Aliquippa, PA, Mary Ann graduated from Providence School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She worked for many years at Aliquippa Hospital as the head of the Obstetrics Department, later finishing her nursing career at Ohio Valley General Hospital. She was a member of the Nurses Alumni where she made many life long friends and enjoyed many trips and adventures. Her embracing smile, compassionate care and dedication to others left a lasting impact on everyone she helped.
A survivor of breast cancer, Mary Ann was a beacon of strength and resilience. She was the family peacemaker and was loved deeply by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be received on THURSDAY from 3-7 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc., Burial and Cremation Services, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday at St. Philip Parish, Ascension Church, 114 Berry St., Ingram, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital or UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, both of which were instrumental in Mary’s cancer journey.
