Mary Teresa White

Age 66, of Sneads Ferry, NC, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Loving mother of Nicole Marie Levine, Michael J. White, and Michelle White McKinney; daughter of the late Howard Joseph and Rose Alice McFadden. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael O’Keefe White, who she loved so much she married him twice. She is survived by her grandchildren Jack Levine, Savannah McKinney, Vinnie, Joey and Sofia White; also many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her husband of one year Miroslav Svestka. She completed her college education while working full-time. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Rivier University in Nashua, NH, and later earned an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill. She started her human resources career in department stores, and went on to work in healthcare, agribusiness, and banking. She loved sharing wine with friends, her book clubs, the beach, and her many friends. Friends and family are invited on TUESDAY, August 22nd  from 5 – 8 p.m. at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc., 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, 50  W. Crafton Ave., Crafton, followed by inurnment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation directly to a cancer center conducting breast cancer research such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dana Faber Cancer Institute or an NCI-designated Cancer Center of your choice.
