Age 98, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 of Sheraden. Beloved mother of Robert L. (late Linda) and Ronald J. (Betsy) Ventura; sister of Joseph F. Morrone and the late John E. Morrone, Rosella Wood and Lucille Morrone; grandmother of Robert C., Brian J., Ronald P. and Tammi Ventura; great-grandmother of Johnathan, Tony, Ayanna, Zachary, Brooke, Shane, Seth and Brynn; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Among other jobs throughout Pittsburgh, Mary was best known as "Transfer Mary" from the Joseph Horne Company where she worked for 28 years. An avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, lover of casinos, lottery scratch-offs, and Captain Morgan, she will be sadly missed by many. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the WILLIAM F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Mass in Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Monday 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4 Gateway Ctr., 444 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15222-1207.
