Johnnie Z. Zaracki

Johnnie Z. Zaracki, of Jefferson Hills, age 55, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Beloved son of Mary Ann (Norman) Costello and the late Joe Z. Zaracki, Sr.; stepson of the late Thomas Costello. Loving brother of Jarret Zaracki, Jimmy Zaracki, and Jerry Keenan. Cherished nephew of Judy and John Norman. Johnnie was a much-loved “Uncle Ducky” to many nieces and nephews, who will forever treasure his warmth, humor, and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Joe Z. Zaracki, Jr., John Zaracki, Jodi Zaracki, Jana’ Davis, Jeff Zaracki, Jay Zaracki, Joe Zaracki, and his stepbrother, Josh Costello.

Johnnie dedicated his life to teaching and made a lasting impact on countless students through his unwavering commitment to inclusion and compassion. He had a remarkable gift for making every person feel seen, valued, and important, and his love for family and friends was evident in all that he did.
