John David Devlin “Johnny”

Age 89 of Sheraden passed away on September 25, 2020. Beloved father of Joni Devlin (Frank) Zarka; son of the late Richard and Mary (Haney) Devlin; brother of Richard Devlin (Margaret), James (the late Rita) Devlin, Carol Ann Devlin; and the late Mary Louise (Richard) Hannan, Patricia (Dominic) Franchina, Eleanor (Edward)Imber and Barbara (Ronald) Strelecki. He is survived by his grandchildren, Nicholas (Diandra), Alexander, and Elizabeth Devlin Zarka and many nieces and nephews.

Johnny served bravely as a sergeant in the Korean War and upon his return worked as a steamfitter. He had a beautiful voice, loved to sing, and was a Jazz aficionado. He lived his entire life in Sheraden. A memorial blessing service, along with military honors, will be held at The Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:30 pm.
