Gerard “B”

Age 67, formerly of Sheraden, passed away peacefully with his daughter Amanda at his side on Thursday, July 30, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jim and Mary Lou Buckley. “B” is survived by his daughters, Tara Marie Buckley Palazzotto (Miles), Amanda Rose Buckley Carr (Adam), and a son, Jason Robert Buckley (Tracie); his five grandchildren, Peter Joseph “PJ” and James Anthony Palazzotto, Jordan Robert Carr, Jaelyn Rose Carr, and Jason Jesse Robert Buckley; brother of Kathaleen Strotmeyer (Steve), James F. Buckley, Noreen Zilch (Bob) and Mary Lou Bowers (Kevin); also one niece and three nephews. “B” was a 1971 graduate of Holy Innocents High School. He was a proud and hard working member of Carpenters and Millwright Union #1263, an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, and an Irishman through and through with a generous spirit and a kind heart. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15212.
