Felicia Sam

Age 65, of Sheraden, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022.    Daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Mafrica) Sam; loving mother of Niki Herman; sister of Mona Monahan, Carol Heisler, and Fred Sam; grandmother of Gianna Porter and Sofia Panza; ex-wife of Tim Herman.

Felicia was a loving “Ya-Ya” who loved to cook, swim, and read with her girls. She was a lover of music with a wonderful voice who spent decades sharing her talent with Pittsburgh. She was a strong, passionate woman that was an activist since she could remember. She spent over 20 years working for Clean Water Action, an environmental lobby group before becoming disabled. She will be forever missed by many people including her dog, Trixie.
