Eugene J. Conley, Jr. “Chubs”

Eugene J. Conley, Jr., affectionately known as “Chubs,” of Sheraden, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, at the age of 76, after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. He was the beloved son of the late Eugene Conley, Sr. "Bud" and Ruth Hill Conley, and dear brother of Patricia Lockard and the late Janet Duerr. Chubs was a loving friend to Mary Jane Romanovich and uncle to Craig Tedorski, Michaele Starcher, and Karen Duerr. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday, September 28th, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc. Burial and Cremation Services, 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden. Chubs will be laid to rest with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, on Friday, October 4th at 2 PM.  Everyone please meet at the cemetery.
