Esther J.  “Essie” Bigger (Brennen)

Age 96, of Sheraden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2023 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Bigger; loving mother of Arlene and Lynn Bigger, Diane Powell, and Karen Seligman (David); grandmother of Jessica Varrati (Fred), Ryan Seligman (Rebecca), and Tyler Powell (Cailyn); great-grandmother of Caiden, and the soon to arrive, Coleson.

Esther was a loving mother, devoted wife and a cherished grandmother. She served in the Navy and was an active member of the former Holy Innocents Church.

Family and friends are welcomed MONDAY from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden. Funeral mass in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry St., Pgh 15205 on Tuesday at 10 AM.  Esther will be laid to rest with military honors at Hollywood Memorial Park.
