DOLORES F. COBBETT (FORD)

Age 94, of Sheraden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Dolores was preceded in death by her loving son, William F. Cobbett, Jr., and her parents, Arthur and Hazel Ford.

From 1946 – 1952 Dolores worked for Bell Telephone where she met a wonderful group of co-workers that turned into lifelong friends.  They called themselves the "Ding-A-Ling Girls".  These Girls met once a month for lunch until COVID hit, vacationed together, and always up to one antic or another!  Dolores was one of the surviving of five until she passed and now there are four.

Dolores was a Retiree of 30 years from Mellon Bank.  She was the Supervisor of the Stock and Bonds Department. Dolores loved to watch her TV, especially "Gunsmoke", while munching on her wintergreen lifesavers.  She remained alert and witty until the end.

Dolores is survived by her brother James Ford and her late son's girlfriend Patty Lang, her "Ding- A-Ling Girls" to include good friend Doris Craig, and many other endeared friends she met along her life's journey.  Those friends would like to send a sincere thank you to the staff at AHN Healthcare and Home Hospice Services and Caring Heights Community Care and Rehab.

Friends are welcomed on THURSDAY 10 – 11 am at  the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden, where a service will be held at 11 am.  Private burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
