Cynthia “Cyndi” Lee (Connors) Ross

Cynthia “Cyndi” Lee (Connors) Ross, 68, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026.

She was born on September 4, 1957,  graduate of Langley High School and proud resident of Sheraden. Cyndi dedicated 35 years of her life as a Lab Technician at UPMC Montefiore and Presby, where she was respected for her work ethic, expertise and willingness to help her coworkers. Cyndi lived life with a warm spirit and a generous heart. She loved camping, cheering from the sidelines at her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, and recently fulfilled her wish of seeing the ocean one last time. Her grandchildren—who lovingly knew her as “Mimi”— were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment with them and delighted in showering them with gifts and affection. To all who knew her, Cyndi was a spark of joy, beauty, and laughter.

She was the daughter of William “Boo” Connors and Rita “Nunnie” Vogt. Cyndi was the sister of Judee Henderson, and the late William and Thomas Connors.  Cyndi is survived by her husband, Thomas Ross, and her beloved sons: Brandon Ross (his wife, Jolene), Jason Ross, and Ryan Ross (his fiancée, Alexandra “Ally”). She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Caden, Ryan Jr., Ava, and Bennett, who lit up her world in every way. She also leaves a large and loving extended family of in‑laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, with whom she shared many special relationships.

Cyndi’s heart, humor, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 20th at 10 am in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry St., Pgh 15205. Everyone please meet at the church.

Following the Mass, there will be a Celebration of Life event at American Legion, Post 496, 2863 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden at 11:30 am.
