CLARE RITA SUPER
Age 96, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. She was the cherished wife of 66 years of the late Robert L. Super; loving mother of Bobby (deceased), Frankie (Janet Kamp), Jimmy (Greg Kloss, deceased), and honorary son Ed Pendred "Number 4"; loving sister of the late Dolores Galisin; and sister-in-law to Frances Jackson "her favorite"; grandmother of Brian (Michelle), Adam (Heather), Steven and Brendan; great-grandmother of Colton and Arlo.
In addition to being a loving wife and wonderful mother, Clare Rita was an active member of the Christian Mothers, former President of the Sheraden Civic Club, and former Treasurer of the Sheraden Improvement Council.
We wish to offer our heartfelt appreciation to all of the kind and dedicated staff of Paramount Assisted Living where Mom has resided for the past 6 years and the kind and gentle staff of Paramount Hospice for preparing her during these final days for her Heavenly journey. A favorite quote truly applies to all involved in Mom's care: "The hands of the Almighty are so often to be found at the ends of our own arms."
Family and friends are welcomed Friday, June19th from 4-7 pm at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc., Burial and Cremation Services, 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Parish, Ascension Church, 114 Berry Street, Pittsburgh, 15205. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
