Age 85, on Saturday, November 22, 2014, of Sheraden. Beloved husband of Jane V. (Fischer) Branton; loving father of Colleen (Hugh) Happel, Archie J. (Carla) Branton, III and Lynn (David) Coughenour; grandfather of Sean & Kevin Happel, Kyle Branton, Rachel, Blair and Reed Coughenour. Mr. Branton served in the Army during WW II and Korea and received two Purple Hearts and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was the Past Commander of the VFW Post 418 and a 33 Degree Master Mason. Friends received TUESDAY 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at WiLLIAM F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial with military honors will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
