Anna C. (Conlon)
On May 11, 2021, one month shy of her 102nd birthday, Anna C. Lynn passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was a lifelong resident of Sheraden. She graduated from Langley High School in 1937. Anna worked full time for Bell Telephone and then retired from The Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel as head telephone operator. She put in countless volunteer hours at her neighborhood parish, Holy Innocents Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. “Jack” Lynn who died in 1958, leaving Anna to raise her three children on her own. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Catherine McManus, Regis Conlon, Bernadette Davis, Thomas and John Conlon.
Anna is survived by her three children, Tualane Thomas (the late Dennis), Ann Bruscemi (the late Samuel), and John Lynn (Pam); her six grandkids, Michael Bruscemi (Michelle), Loraine Bickel, Denise Capozoli (Todd), Matthew Lynn (Chelsea), Brian Lynn (Katie), and Kelsey Lynn; eight great-grandchildren, Brittany Capozoli, Amanda Bruscemi, Conner Capozoli, Carly , and Alexis Bruscemi, J.J. and Sammy Bickel, and Carter Lynn. Anna was getting ready to meet her ninth great-grandchild, baby girl Lynn.
Family are friends are welcomed on Saturday 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc. 2944 Chartiers Ave, Sheraden. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish on Monday at 10 am.
