ALBERT BURLIKOWSKI
Albert Burlikowski, age 77, of Westwood, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023; preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret (Junilius) and his parents, Helen (Beka) and Steve Burlikowski; brother of Steve Burlikowski; dearest father of Haley Livingston; beloved grandfather of Ben, Zach, Zaë and Max; brother-in-law of Bert and the late Gerald L. McNamara and Maryann and Bernie Junilius; dearest uncle of Gerald B. McNamara (Diane), the late Sharon McNamara, Jennifer Junilius, Jaclyn Gura (Matt), Stacy Burlikowski and Steven Burlikowski; and beloved great uncle of Christopher Ealy and Brendan and Bridget McNamara. Albert enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and suffered disabling injurie during the war. After proudly serving his country, Albert spent the rest of his life serving the needs of other disabled veterans. He was the current Adjutant/Treasurer of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 76, the former Chapter Commander of Chapter 76, and the former District and Pennsylvania State Commander of Disabled American Veterans. Albert was also a "veteran" of many Bruce Springsteen concerts and was looking forward to seeing Bruce in Pittsburgh in September. Albert was a good-hearted man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation private. Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Margaret's of Scotland Church of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, Greentree on Thursday July 13th at 10 am. Burial with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc., Sheraden.
