Age 75, on Friday, March 17, 2017 of Robinson Twp, formerly of Sheraden. Beloved husband of Kaaren (Urich) Merlo; loving father of Richard S. Merlo, Jr., Paula (Michael) Short and Kaaren (John) Duran; also seven grandchildren and many brothers and sisters. “Coach Merlo” coached youth baseball and football in Sheraden and Sto-Rox for 30 years. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Robinson Twp. on Saturday, March 25th at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following the Mass there will be a lunch served at Duran's Bar and Restaurant, 12 E.
