I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I still can't believe you are gone,we JUST talked we just saw each other...I will never forget our last conversation and how you said ,I am so done with this life and all the bullshit,I'm gonna be 45 in May and that is the turning point! No more of this,I am going to be happy and healthy and put this all in the past for good...We must have talked for over an hour about that, and before we got off the phone you said Anna-Anna- Anna Begins (counting crows) and laughed said love ya girl, talk to ya soon!!!
I know that you are at peace and I'm happy about that, but not how it came about.
To Mr. and Mrs. Scheirer and family, I am so very sorry for your loss,it's a bitter sweet feeling, just knowing that he is at peace and in heaven with Our Lord hopefully makes it a little more bearable!
You are in my thought and prayers

My friend . With you gone, some days are going to be ruff for me and some days will be uplifting and full of memories . Thankful that we shared time together, alot of times with the rest of the gang and some times just us, You & Me . One of the last things i said to you Darren, was that you could always come to me with anything, to talk with me as if you would in the mirror or in your mind . You knew that i was in your corner, not because i constantly told you so, but because you felt it . I'm gonna be ok buddy because i know that you are truly at peace and free from the hold and struggle of what kept you from the life you spoke of and wanted so much . Just "knowing" the life that you wanted and that i knew you could live is more than enough for me . Even though you would not now have the chance to fulfill that life . Wow, i can only imagine all of Heaven's animals and how loved and entertained they all are now . That makes me smile buddy . Your entire family grieves and at the same time is greatful and relieved of the release of the pain and struggle that unfortunately encompassed your life . I too am greatful of that release . I never would of thought years ago something as simple as a song and the title of that song would have such an impact on the ending of your time here with us . That song being 'Release' by PearlJam . One of our favorite songs and memories of a time we shared singing that song . Laughing the entire time . That same song Darren, has now become your anthem . 'Release' . You are now the 3rd of my greatest friends to be taken away from us here, your loved ones . All 3 of your departure was unfortunate and in the same manner . You Darren, being the last of the 3 and without hesitation of thought, are the greatest of the 3 . I WILL sorely miss you, but will be ok . For the past 3 days now, i have throughout the day laughed, cried, reminisced and even spoke to you in my mind and aloud . Telling you that it is very much ok for you to come and visit me and that i would not be afraid if you did so . Also to let you know it is alright for you to now 'rest' . With the lord, and with other lost and loved ones in Heaven, with all of the animals whom i absolutely know adore and surround you . Yes buddy, it's very much alright for you to go and rest now . WE will always and forever carry you in our hearts & minds . I ask the lord to ease your family's heavy hearts so that they too can rest . I know you will visit us all, i know you will visit me . Until then brother, i love you man .

Growing up with Darren was some of the best days of my life! I've never laughed so hard before just listening to him talk. And his laugh.....everyone that was around would crack up laughing just listening to his laugh!!!! I'm so thankful that I have those great memories and they all make me smile. I can still hear his laugh & I'm so happy I have that memory most!!!! 😊

My deepest sympathies to the Scheirer Family. Darren was such a fun loving person and I was honored to share a birthday with him. Once you meet any of the Scheirer's... you instantly become family and Darren was always there to remind you of that. He will be missed.
