Robert Stevens Obituary

In Loving Memory of Robert Jack Stevens

Born on November 5, 1957, in Rochester, Pennsylvania, Robert Jack Stevens passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 19, 2024 at his home in Mckees Rocks. A true Pittsburgher through and through, Rob's heart beat to the rhythm of the black and gold that adorned his beloved city and its sports teams—the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.

Rob's love for Pittsburgh was only surpassed by his devotion to his family. It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge his reunion with his daughter, Merci Castner (Stevens), of Moon Township, and his son, Robert Stevens Jr, of Bloomdale Ohio. Their families, including Paul Castner (son-in-law), Gabriel Castner (grandson), Braxton Castner (grandson), Meleah Stevens (daughter-in-law), Grace Stevens (granddaughter), Raymond Stevens (grandson), Melody Stevens (granddaughter), Kayla Keton (granddaughter), Kinston (great-grandson), Guin (great-granddaughter), Oscar Stevens (brother), Cindy Stevens (sister-in-law), and Kathy Roebuck (sister), join together in mourning the loss of a beloved family man.

A funeral service to celebrate Rob's life will be held at 1 pm on February 2, 2024, at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, located at 1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017. Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to gather for a celebration of Robert's life at the home of Paul and Merci Castner in Moon Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans in memory of Robert Stevens. Your contributions will honor Rob's legacy by supporting those who have bravely served our country. As we say our farewells to Robert Jack Stevens, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and the indelible mark he left on the city he loved. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the enduring spirit of Pittsburgh.
