Nancy Harkins

Nancy Harkins, Age 79, formerly of Kennedy Twp., and Sheraden, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 13, 2024 in Columbus, OH after bravely battling Parkinson's disease and vascular dementia. Nancy was a devoted wife to her late husband William P. Harkins, who passed just days before their 50th anniversary.

Nancy is survived by her brother Robert Leiner and his wife Lois, her children William E. Harkins and his wife Angela, Tamara Harkins, and Todd Harkins and his wife Joy. She was a cherished grandmother to Icarus, Abigail, Christian, Gabriella, Liam, and Drew, whom she adored. Nancy had a special bond with her grandchildren and loved spending time with them, especially during spirited Uno games.

Nancy was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She took great joy in helping her childhood best friend, Jean Harkins, become her sister-in-law when Jean married Nancy's brother-in-law, Edward Harkins.

Family and friends are welcomed Monday 5-8 PM and Tuesday 9:30-10:30 AM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Burial and Cremation Services, 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church on Tuesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Martin Cemetery. Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
