Many a prayer for the fine football and baseball coach of my youth. What a sad day for everyone whom had the pleasure of knowing him, finding out about his passing.

our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. My greatest childhood memories are of the days when Mr. Merlo coached my softball team. He was a great coach and ALWAYS made plaing the game so much fun !! You will be missed but never forgotten. RIP

I'm sorry for your loss. Mr. Merlo was such a great guy. He always had a smile on his face, told some great jokes and was overall a great person to talk to. Your Pops was such a stand up guy. He made such an impact on many lives. He will be missed immensely. God Bless you all. Sending you all lots of love and prayers now and always.
