Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Ryan) Bowler; father of Joanne (Tom) Hershey and Diane (Ray) Marino; grandfather of Tara (Steve) Saunders, Ryan Hershey, Gina (Jason) Van Jura, Lou and Juliana Marino; great-grandfather of Charlie Saunders; brother of Martha Bond and the late Cyril, Jr. and John Bowler. Friends received WEDNESDAY from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WILLIAM F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Mass in St. Malachy Church, Kennedy Twp., on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Souls Cemetery with full military honors. Joe was a WW 2 Naval veteran, serving in the Pacific on the U.S.S. LST 639. He was a retired Port Authority bus driver with over 30 years of service.
